Immigration Journey – A Quest for New Beginnings
A gamified immigration simulator designed to help potential applicants understand and prepare for their journey to Canada.
This project explored how interactive experiences could simplify the immigration process and help users feel more confident before beginning their application journey.
The concept was developed as part of a client project focused on improving awareness and engagement for Miranda Immigration.
The Idea
Instead of presenting immigration information through static content, the concept introduced a gamified simulator that allows users to experience the immigration journey step by step.
Users enter their details, and based on this information, the simulator guides them through different stages of the process and helps them understand what to expect.
The goal was to educate potential clients, reduce uncertainty, and build confidence before they begin their real application.

Profile Setup
Users enter key information, including education, work experience, financial readiness, and immigration goals.
Pathway Discovery
Based on their profile, the simulator presents potential immigration routes and eligibility criteria.
Document Preparation
Users explore the documents required for their pathway and how to prepare them.
Application Journey
The simulator recreates the submission process, expected timelines, and communication from immigration authorities.
Outcome
For the end user, the simulator transforms a complex immigration process into an interactive journey.
Instead of navigating confusing information, applicants can explore their potential pathway step by step, understand documentation requirements, and gain a clearer picture of what the process may look like before beginning their real application.
